Birthday Clubs

Since we just celebrated Claire's birthday it has gotten me to thinking that I would like to share some of the birthday clubs that we are signed up for in hopes of helping you have better birthdays as well. If you sign up for these, be sure to do it well in advance of your birthday so you don't miss out on any of the fun!
Toys R Us: They send your child a 3 dollar gift certificate for their birthday. Plus around birthday time I also have frequently gotten 5 dollar off of a 25 dollar purchase coupons.

Baskin Robbins
: We just tried this one out for the first time with Claire. You get a free scoop of ice cream for your birthday. After Claire's doctor appointment yesterday we were able to stop and get her free scoop, and Meghan and Claire absolutely loved being able to sit and eat their ice cream.
ColdStone: They give you free ice cream for your birthday. Kids get a kids creation and I think adults get a free like it size ice cream with one mix in.
Great American Cookie Company: They give you a free cookie cake slice for your birthday. I was able to take Meghan and Claire to do this last weekend and they thought it was great as well. Claire loved carrying the box up to the food court.

Red Robin
: They give you a free burger for your birthday. Kids get a free kids meal. We usually go to Red Robin around my birthday and Scott's as well for a really cheap way to go out to eat, and Red Robin's food is super delicious. Scott says it is one of his favorite restaurants.

I'm sure more places will come to me over time, but this is my current list for now. Enjoy!

Target

Target has some really good clearance sales. There is a big one coming up probably this week. I shopped it last year, and it was amazing the things I was able to find. The sale is this, all of their clearance toys will be put at 75% off. And most the targets have rows and rows of these leftover toys from Christmas.

This is where I got many of my holiday presents last year. And I plan on doing it again this year. Noone knows for sure when it will happen, but my best guess is this Thursday morning. So if you need some toys for birthdays or holidays or whatever, head on over to your local target this Thursday and see what you can find! If the toys aren't 75% off when you go, they should be soon. It all depends on the time of day the markdown team in your specific Target location gets to the toys. Happy Shopping!

Swagbucks Deal

If you have signed up for swagbucks, which I recently posted about, I found a good deal you can spend them on. Right now swagbucks has an alice.com 5 dollar gift certificate for only 20 swagbucks. That is a way better deal than their $5 dollar amazon giftcard for 45 swagbucks.

alice.com carries garbage bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, toothpaste, etc. So, it would be a great way to use your swagbucks for something you really need.

Here are some good deals on alice.com this week:

Crest 6.4 oz. toothpaste: $1.22
Herbal Essences 12 oz.: $2.16
Bic Shavers for men 10 count: $1.05
Suave 2.6 oz. Deodorant: $.98

You could almost get all these things for the 5 dollar giftcard from swagbucks, not a bad deal.

Alice.com offers free shipping for your first order, no matter how big it is. They also have the top 50 deals of the week, so you could get some good stuff for that five dollars. Go here to create your alice.com account. Then go to your swagbucks account and order the alice.com giftcard. If you would like to sign up for swagbucks and start earning, see the banner on the right side of the screen. Once your swagbucks gift card is ready, you can go here to see the top 50 best deals of the week and have fun shopping!

If you haven't signed up for swagbucks and would like to know what it is, please refer to a previous post that explains it. Thanks moneysavingmom for telling me about alice.com.

Free Samples

One cool thing I have learned since starting to hunt the deals is that there are many free samples to be found online. One thing that makes it even better is that usually a coupon is enclosed with the free samples. So this is a great way to try out some products for free as well as get coupons for your future purchases.

Walmart has a specific area of their site devoted to free samples. I just went on there today and they had a free sample of always infinity, pampers extra protection, huggies little movers, and garnier skin renew.

So, if you are interested in some samples (I mean, one free diaper is one less diaper you have to buy, right?), then you should start out by checking out this Walmart link .

SC Johnson Rebate

SC Johnson has a pretty neat rebate out right now. You buy 3 SC Johnson products from the list (see below), and mail in for a 5 dollar rebate. This can make for some pretty good deals if you shop the sales, or even if it is just something you already buy anyway. What makes it even better is that you can do it 3 times per household. Just make sure you mail in your submissions in separate envelopes.

The products that it includes are :

• Ziploc®
• Glade®
• Windex®
• Scrubbing Bubbles®
• Pledge®
• Shout®
• Fantastik®
• Drano®
• Raid®
• Off®
• Saran™
• Nature’s Source™

click here for the SC Johnson page. Then click on the click here for a special offer button. This offer is good through June 30th of next year, so you should have plenty of time to do it 3 times if you want. Thanks moneysavingmom

Free photo cards!

www.seehere.com is offering 50 free 4X8 photo cards. You do have to create an account with them to use the code. Use the code newbaby once they are in your cart and the cards as well as the shipping should be free.

Ina ddition to those free photo cards, you can also get 50 more free 4X8 photo cards from that same website, but this code expires this November 30. So hurry if you want to take advantage of it. On this set of cards uses the code freebies4mom-1109.

So, you should be able to get a total of 100 cards for free! This would be a great time to jump on it if you plan on sending out Christmas cards this year!

Thanks moneysaving mom and freebies4mom!

Free Sample

There are quite a few free samples to be found online. This one is a pretty cool one because in addition to the samples it sent me, it also sent me a coupon for a free full size package of always infinity (and where I got it, that coupon was worth almost 6 dollars). Anyway, this sample pack includes 2 Tampax Pearl Tampons, 1 Compak Pearl Tampon, 1 Always Infinity Maxi-Pad, 2 Always Pantiliners, and 1 Always Feminine Wipe, so quite a few things to try out.

So I can't promise you will get that cool coupon with it, but it might be worth your time to get the free sample, and it will also probably have some sort of coupon with it. And who doesn't love receiving mail?
